PSGE offers three structured pathways to fellowship, ensuring comprehensive training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS).

1. Local Straight Fellowship
Train at PSGE-accredited institutions in the Philippines: 

  • Quirino Memorial Medical Center (QMMC) 
  • Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) 
  • Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC)/Chong Hua Hospital (CHH) Consortium
  • East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) (as part of the Minimally Invasive Advanced Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship)
  • Far Eastern University – Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF)/Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center Consortium (JRRMMC) Consortium  (as part of the Reproductive Medicine Fellowship)
  • St. Luke's Medical Center – Quezon City (SLMC-QC)  (as part of the Reproductive Medicine Fellowship)
  • University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) (as part of the Reproductive Medicine Fellowship)

2. Overseas Training
Before commencing training abroad, candidates must notify PSGE for program recognition. 

A. Straight Fellowship:

  • Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (CGMH), Taiwan 
  • National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore 
  • Kendang Kerbau (KK) Hospital, Singapore 

B. Cumulative Modular Training:

  • Joseph Hospitals (formerly Joseph Nursing Home), Chennai, India 

3. Post-Residency Modular Training Program in Gynecologic Endoscopy (PRMTPGE)
Eligibility: Open only to those currently enrolled in the PRMTPGE program (as of 2023). New applicants must pursue Pathways 1or 2. 

Recognized Step 3 Interim Workshop Centers  (hospitals other than those listed below may apply as a center and will be approved on a case-to-case basis by the PSGE Training Committee):

  • De Los Santos Medical Center 
  • Southern Isabela Medical Center 
  • Healthway Qualimed Hospital Santa Rosa 
  • Davao Doctors Hospital 
  • World Citi Medical Center 
  • Chong Hua Hospital (Main and Mandaue) 

Additional Notes:

  1. Introduction to Gynecologic Endoscopy (IGE) is mandatory for all pathways.
  2. All training pathways are required to perform the following cases:

    Laparoscopy
    Thirteen (13) Level 2 laparoscopy procedures as assistant
    Thirteen (13) Level 2 laparoscopy procedures as primary surgeon

    Hysteroscopy
    Twelve (12) level 2 hysteroscopy procedures as assistant
    Twelve (12) level2 hysteroscopy procedures as primary surgeon

  3. All training pathways culminate in Step IV certification and are required to perform the following cases:

    Laparoscopy

    Five (5) Level 2 laparoscopy procedures as primary surgeon

    Hysteroscopy
    Five (5) level 2 hysteroscopy procedures as primary surgeon
